Tchambalakate is a living laboratory where circular and regenerative ways of living are continuously explored, tested and refined under real Mozambican conditions.
Rather than offering a conventional holiday, we invite curious people to experience everyday life on a small regenerative farm. Together we explore practical solutions for agroforestry, biodiversity conservation, composting, biochar, natural building, circular sanitation, renewable energy, zero-waste living and locally adapted food systems.
Guests become part of daily life. Depending on the season and their interests, they may help plant trees, monitor biodiversity, build with natural materials, improve compost systems, test new ideas or simply observe and exchange knowledge.
Accommodation is intentionally simple and integrated into the project. Traditional Mozambican reed huts and natural building materials create a comfortable living environment with natural ventilation and mosquito protection, allowing visitors to experience a low-impact lifestyle in close connection with nature.
We do not claim to have all the answers. Tchambalakate is a place to learn, experiment, document successes and failures, and continuously improve together.
